X'rhiu tends to run on the curt and taciturn side of the spectrum. Unless you're talking business, he'll seem like he doesn't want anything to do with you. He's bold and to-the-point, not seeing the value in any polite niceties. If he can say it in two words or less, he will. Whether he was always like this or whether this is an intentional choice to seem intimidating is anyone's guess. Either way, very few people can break through this exterior.He's ruthless in his judgments and opinions. He sees a simplified version of the world, one where there is black and white, right and wrong, good and evil, strong and weak, and he will be the judge of all of these. Should anyone disagree with him on his judgments, he won't suffer their presence any longer than necessary. Within this stubborn perspective, however, he strives to help the unfortunate.While X'rhiu is generally unpleasant to be around, he's a steadfast ally. If he says he will weather a storm with you, he'll keep true to his word, no matter what may come. Either brave or foolhardy, he sees what he sets out to do through to the very end, whatever that may look like. If there's one positive trait he exposes to anyone regardless of their relationship to him, it's dedication.

X'rhiu hails from a moderately-sized Seeker tribe in Gyr Abania. When the Garleans took control of Ala Mhigo 20 years ago, the tribe managed to get by in (relative) peace by providing volunteers to the Imperial army. When no volunteers were left, the tribe's council started drawing lots to see who would be sent, in order to keep the rest of the tribe safe.Over the years, the tribe's size dwindled. It struggled to meet the Garleans' demands, and the Miqo'te thrown into the pool were increasingly younger. The tribe had to resort to giving away its younglings, or it wouldn't be able to provide what it promised to the Empire.Ten years after the Empire moved in, when X'rhiu's 15-year-old sister X'lhinru was chosen to be sacrificed to the Empire. This was the final act that made him snap, unwilling to suffer the tribe's cowardice any longer. The night before his sister was meant to be given to the Empire, he fled the tribe with her.As they traveled through hostile territory and towards the relative safety of Eorzea, the two siblings encountered more than their fair share of obstacles. X'rhiu took to appearing as intimidating as possible to ensure other travelers didn't bother them on the road. This is when he adopted the title of Nunh; although his tribe was only the two of them, the title was all most needed to leave the pair alone.After a few months of grueling travel, they found themselves in Little Ala Mhigo, where they quickly joined the fold.While X'rhiu was wary at first, X'lhinru fit right in and quickly found a group of friends. After a while, X'rhiu started training under several Ala Mhigan veterans; the most notable was a Roegadyn who taught him how to wield the greataxe as his mountain hometown did.After Dalamud fell, X'rhiu and X'lhinru left. The last thing they wanted was to take now-precious resources from those who had so kindly taken them in, and the canyons of Little Ala Mhigo were filled with the ghosts of the friends and mentors they'd lost in the Calamity's resulting destruction.Together, they traveled to Ul'dah, believing that they would find luck there. When they first arrived, what they found was that they would have to stay in a tent until they were wealthy enough to live in the city proper.Within a year, they managed to save up enough to buy a small apartment in the city. As with Little Ala Mhigo, X'lhinru integrated easily into the city life; she soon found a job at the Coliseum helping catch beasts to be fought, and a group of friends.X'rhiu didn't fit in as well. Not wanting to hold his sister back, he left the city and took to adventuring instead. He visits her often, however, and never travels very far.

X'rhiu has a variety of services individuals can hire him for. He's willing to bounty hunt, escort, guard, intimidate—essentially anything that requires an axe, unfriendly demeanor, or physical fighting. You might have hired him in the past, or you might seek him out for a job. While there's plenty of people that do what he does, it's possible you've heard of him before.

Since coming to Eorzea, X'rhiu has picked up blacksmithing, unwilling to trust anyone else with the construction of arms and armor that will be protecting his life. While he doesn't advertise these services, he isn't one to turn down Gil that's within his means to earn. He isn't a professional, but he can craft average-quality arms and armor, for the right price.

If you frequent Ul'dah or its Coliseum, you've likely run into X'lhinru. Outgoing and talkative, she befriends almost anyone she runs across easily. You might recognize the family resemblance—the two could be twins—or Lhin might have sent you to tell X'rhiu something while he's on one of his many adventures.

If you're from Gyr Abania or spent time in Little Ala Mhigo before the Calamity, you might have encountered X'rhiu before in some capacity. While he's solitary and taciturn, he has spoken to people before. The question is whether it was a pleasant interaction or not.
